Gathered In Faith

We believe that every disciple’s journey begins with a personal response to the gospel, repenting of sin and trusting in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. This new life in Christ is publicly declared through believer’s baptism, a visible testimony of inward faith and the first step of obedience. (Mark 1:15, Romans 10:9-11)

Gathered With Family

We believe that following faith in Christ, every disciple is called to belong to a local church family. Being gathered with family means committing to worship together, grow in fellowship, serve one another, and join in God’s mission through the church. In community, we live out our shared identity as members of one body in Christ. (Ephesians 1:22-23; 2:19-22 4:4-6, Acts 2:41-42)

Growing In The Word

Foundationally, every disciple must be strong, and the base of every disciple is the Word of God. By daily reading the Word and applying it to one's life, studying it with other believers, and hearing it preached weekly, a disciple will be equipped and complete for every good work God has created them for. (Hebrews 1:1-2, 2 Tim 3:15-17, Rom 15:4, 1 Peter 1:25)

Growing In Prayer

Built atop the foundation of God's Word, by the power of the Holy Spirit, a disciple must deepen their relationship with Christ in the area of prayer. Prayer is simply a conversation with our living God, who actively hears and answers our requests according to His will. In Prayer, the Spirit will actively reveal God's will and direction for our lives, leading us to live like Christ in this world. (Romans 12:2, Hebrews 4:16, 1 John 5:14-15, Phil 4:6-7, 1 Thes 5:16-18)

Growing In The Spirit

As a family, we are called to walk daily in step with His Spirit. Every believer is invited to follow and be led by the Holy Spirit—learning to listen, obey, and cultivate spiritual disciplines that draw us closer to Christ. As we grow in the Spirit, His presence transforms our hearts and produces His fruit in our lives, shaping us to reflect the very character of Jesus in every aspect of our lives. (Romans 8:14; Galatians 5:16–25; Ephesians 5:18; John 14:26; John 13:35; Matthew 5:14–16)

Going To Serve

As a family of believers, God has woven us together, each uniquely gifted and equipped to serve Him and one another. Every disciple is called to invest their time, gifts, and resources to build up the body of Christ, using the abilities God has given for His glory. When we serve through these Spirit-empowered gifts, the church is strengthened, the Kingdom of God is displayed, and Christ is glorified.

Going To Make Disciples

Like the early disciples we have been commissioned to "Go & Tell" all people about the good news of Jesus Christ. FBC Sinton has been uniquly placed by God in Sinton as a lighthouse, pointing people to Jesus and the Kingdom of God. Our mission is simple, "reach the unreached with the best news on earth." (Acts 1:8, Matthew 28:18-20, Luke 19:10)
